The Local Area
Undoubtedly one of Scotland’s biggest treasures, Loch Lomond and it’s surrounding countryside provides a wonderful setting for glorious walks, picnics on the beach, boat trips, fishing, sailing and kayaking. The whole area is part of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the Queen Elizabeth Forest reaches down to the village edge, and we are situated on the world famous West Highland Way.
Ben Lomond, on our doorstep is a seriously good climb and the less strenuous Conic and Dumpling still offer breathtaking views as does Dumgoyne with the added attraction of a distillery at it’s foot. Around here you’ll find plenty of walking to suit all levels.
Rannoch is a large cottage in immaculate condition in a prime position within the village of Drymen. The public rooms and bedrooms all look south over large completely secluded gardens.

A generous sized family cottage that sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 infants. Travel cot and highchair available on request.
A traditional Rayburn is the beautiful focal point to this well equipped kitchen. For quick meals, a combi oven/grill is also available.
Enjoy the stunning views in the south facing garden, well-equipped with ample garden furniture and a coal-fired barbecue is available for guests to use.

Snuggle up in the cosy corner and relax with a lovely log burner. Starter pack of logs provided.
Fresh linen and towels
All beds will be made up on arrival with fresh and clean linen. Towels and complimentary toiletries will be provided for all guests staying at Rannoch. There are washing, drying and ironing facilities available on the premises. Extra linen is available upon request.
Well equipped with satellite TV, freeview as well as iPod dock and CD player. And free Wifi throughout the premises.
